Deactivate Unifi Access User

This KB Article will walk you through the process to Deactivating a User from your Unifi Access system. To deactivate a Unifi Access User, please follow the steps below. Please note that this guide assumes you are on UniFi OS 4.3.9. If you are on a different version, the instructions may be slightly different. 1. Log into the UniFi OS Console #

  • Go to your UniFi OS Console IP address or https://unifi.ui.com
  • Log in with your credentials

2. Open the UniFi Access Application #

  • NOTE: If you have multiple consoles or locations,
    you will need to choose your specific console first.
  • From the UniFi OS dashboard, click on the Access icon at the top
    • This opens the UniFi Access controller interface
  • Click the Admins & Users icon in the lower left of the screen
  • Uncheck the “Admin Permissions” filter, if checked
  • Select the existing user you wish to deactivate

3. Go to the “User Settings” Section #

  • Click on the “Gear icon” tab at the top of the screen
  • Scroll to the bottom and select “Deactivate“
  • Confirm. User will be deactivated and will not be able to access any doors they had been assigned to
