    • Reliable long-term service

Many customers switch to us after experiencing poor service or high costs from national providers.

    • Honeywell / Resideo
    • DSC
    • Napco
    • 2GIG
    • Other compatible panels

If you’re unsure what system you have, we can evaluate it and recommend the best option.

  • Can I get mobile app control with my existing alarm system?

Yes. By upgrading your system with Alarm.com, NAPCO StarLink, or AlarmNet, we can add smartphone control, real-time alerts, and remote access.

Some older systems may not be able to utilize all features of the remote app, however.

  • Do I need a landline for alarm monitoring?

No. All of our systems use cellular communication, which is more reliable than traditional phone lines and works even during outages. NAPCO Communicators use a combination of Verizon, ATT & T-Mobile, ensuring maximum uptime and protection.

  • How long does an alarm system takeover take?

Most alarm takeovers can be completed in 1–2 hours. Our technicians handle the transition quickly so your system is back online with minimal downtime.

  • Can I switch alarm companies without replacing my system?

Yes. In most cases, your existing alarm panel, sensors, and wiring can be reused. We simply upgrade the communicator and connect your system to our 24/7 alarm monitoring service, saving you money on new equipment.

Please note that some newer sytems, like Honeywell ProSeries and DSC PowerG+ can be locked down by your dealer. If this is the case, we will not be able to reuse the hardware unless you get your current provider to release them.

Security Cameras

  • What areas do you service?

We serve Lycoming, Clinton, Columbia, Union, Northumberland, and Montour counties in Pennsylvania with remote services available beyond. We also service Yates, Steuben, Cayuga and Thompkins counties in New York State (We are licensed by the NYS Department of state for security and fire services).

  • Do I need internet for security cameras to work?

No—Most cameras we offer record locally to a network video recorder without internet. However, internet is required for remote viewing from your phone.

Cloud-based business cameras do require internet to backup video to the cloud.

  • What resolution do I need for security cameras?

4MP is a great balance of quality and storage, while 8MP (4K) provides higher detail for identifying faces and license plates. Most places with smaller coverage area find that 4MP is plenty for their needs, which saves on costs and allows for longer retention times.

Also, having a quality image sensor can help more with image quality more so than having higher resolution. Other camera brands may say they are 4K, but have a low-quality image sensor, rendering the upgrade useless.

  • How long do cameras keep recordings?

This depends on your storage size and number of cameras. Typical systems store 1–4 weeks of footage. We aim to size your system for about 2 weeks of video storage, allowing for growth in the future.
